My Lazy Day

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed reading your answers to yesterday's post. I love getting know how other writers get their ideas =)

Today is going to be a lazy, yet productive work day. Yes, lazy and productive. If it's not school work and I don't need to leave the house, I see my day as blessedly lazy. The productive part is that I plan on working on my story. Yay! So if you have Twitter, I'll be skulking around on there quite a bit (I like to talk to people while I write-- how weird am I?) I hope to get the edits done and polish it all up. I also would like to get another 2-3 scenes done this weekend. If I do all of that, I will be very happy!

What are you up to today?

  1. OMG!!!! That is totally the exact photo I used to create a sculpture of a polar bear laying against a rock when I was a sophomore in high school! Do you use the word sophomore there?

  6. It was a loooong day at the bank, so I am curled up on the couch listening to the sound of the rain... and getting ready to watch that Kerri Russell movie "Waitress" on the On Demand.

Oh, and cooking pizza rolls. Well, hubs is cooking them. :)

I hope you enjoyed your day!

  7. Wish I'd spent the day working on my WIP instead of writing a newsletter and professional development survey at my day job. Oh well, at least I was writing AND making money in the process. :)

Now I'm off to the grocery store to stock up on yummy eats for Superbowl Sunday.

  8. My goal is to write the first chapter in book #2 this weekend. We spent all week plotting and I think we're finally ready to dive in. Can't. Wait.

    Have a great weekend!

  9. I think I was channeling that polar bear yesterday. Oh, I did spend a couple hours working, but for the most part, I laid on the couch watching TV.

This is supposed to be Write Your Butt Off Weekend, so I'm going to see if I can hammer out some good words. Other than that, not much else planned.

  10. Jonathon- LOL! I'd love to see that. Do you have any pictures? And no, not in western Canada. Out east (Ontario and Quebec) they've been known to though.

Shannon- NO WAY! That is so not fair to you! Do they never think of your needs and wants? Scoffs. Kids these days.

    Anissa- Yay!! Good luck!

Jen- Aww, you needed cheering? What's up???

Rhonda- LOL! I felt like him yesterday. My mum and I actually had a shouting match (a fun one) about who was going to fetch who lunch.

Amber- Heh. I clearly LOVE the sound of rain ;) Yummy!

Jennifer- That's right. You have to think positive. That's what I do when I'm stuck writing stuff for school. LOL! You Americans and your superbowl. It boggles my mind. It truly does =P

Lisa and Laura- Oooo, exciting!! I hope it goes well for you!

B.E.- LOL! I think many of us were. I envy you. I tried to work on my WIP, but that didn't go so well. Watching TV would have been more productive. Oh well, thats the first time in a while.
And, Go B. E. GO! -waves pompoms-
